BODY AS SPACE

Body as Space is a fashion project that explores the relationship between the human form, the garments that surround it, and the space created through movement. Drawing inspiration from the organic, sculptural forms of orchids and the fluid, expressive motion of dancers, this collection positions the body not as a static figure, but as a living architecture—one that blooms, folds, and unfurls.

The orchid, with its sensual asymmetry, delicate balance, and intricate structure, informs the silhouettes and surface textures of the garments. Layers echo petals in soft drapes and sharp folds, while subtle asymmetries create tension and release—like a flower mid-bloom.

Influenced by contemporary dance and the grace of draping bodies in motion, the designs are not just worn, but performed. The garments come alive only in movement, choreographing space around the body and blurring the line between fashion and performance art.

Body as Space challenges traditional notions of fit and form, inviting wearers to inhabit their garments as they would a stage—creating ephemeral sculptures through every gesture, step, and sway.

This is not just clothing. It is a choreography of fabric, a spatial dialogue between body, air, and emotion.
